Law Notes is edited and chiefly written by Professor Arthur Leonard of New York Law School, with a staff of volunteer writers consisting of lawyers, law school graduates, and current law students. Professor Leonard, LeGaL’s founder, has written numerous articles on employment law, AIDS law, and LGBT law. He is a frequent national spokesperson on sexual orientation law, and an expert on the rapidly emerging area of LGBT family law. He is also a contributing writer for Gay City News, New York’s bi-weekly LGBT newspaper, and is the author of Sexuality and the Law: An Encyclopedia of Major Legal Cases (Garland, 1993).
