SAGE-Harlem Monthly Walk-in Clinic

SAGE-Harlem Monthly Walk-in Clinic

Are you an LGBTQ Senior? Do you need legal guidance? Volunteer lawyers are here to help.

Who runs the legal clinic?

The City Bar Justice Center LGBT Advocacy Project, in partnership with the LeGaL Foundation and SAGE, is pleased to provide a monthly legal clinic devoted to serving local LGBT seniors.

What kind of help is offered?

The clinics consist of a presentation on specific legal issues important to LGBT seniors, a question and answer session, followed by one-on-one meetings with a volunteer attorney. The attorneys at the clinic are available to provide general guidance and legal referrals, but not legal representation.

When and where is the clinic held?

The legal clinic is held on the third Thursday of every month from 1:00-2:00 p.m. (excluding holidays) at SAGE Center Harlem.

SAGE Center Harlem is located at 127 West 127th Street, Suite 407 (between Lenox Ave. and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd.) in the Communal Room; their phone number is (646) 660-8954. For additional information, visit sageusa.org.

Do I need an appointment?

No appointment is necessary; walk-ins welcome.
